The TWO key things you need in order to grow a wildly successful detailing business that is 1) Know who your power buyers are (your niche) and 2) Salesmanship. NOT marketing
Without having those 2 key things in place, you'll just be another detailer Joe who does $200 details on average cars Having these two things dialed in, allows you to book high end coating jobs for years to come. Marketing is then a fuel to the already existing fire And seriously, no one in this industry even talks about this stuff lol Most people in the detailing groups are obsessed over what monthly deals they should run to get cheap ass customers (lmao) or what's the best graphene to use for their coating clients that comes once in a blue moon Here's what I cover: 1) Power buyers in your market 2) Salesmanship 3) Tactical closing techniques to close ceramic coating jobs 4) Mindset about money 5) Lean mobile setup for highest profitability Detailing 2.0 Strategy & Training: https://www.yikhaiwong.com/free-training

Ever wonder how detailers are booking back to back corrections and coatings..
While others do the same ol interior on a thrashed out 2013 Ford Explorer that hasn't seen a vacuum since 2013? If I can boil it down to two things, it would be sales and customer acquisition But here's the nuance - there's a huge difference between booking $200 ticket and booking $2,000 ticket They are NOT the same You'd be silly if you think someone is just going to call you up and book a thousand dollar detail That barely happens Booking someone at $200 for a full detail barely needs any sales, or customer acquisition strategies Throw up some posts on Facebook marketplace, local buy sell groups and yelp and off ya go What about high ticket (4 figure jobs)? It's a whole different ball of game Sales, market positioning, super nuanced targeting to niche markets, ad strategies etc Now, for the first time ever... I'm going to showing you a little behind the scenes of my paid consulting program on how I consult my clients on a recent coaching call on sales and customer acquisition strategies
Here's what I cover:
1) Disqualifying leads 2) Systemize sales process 3) Downsell 4) Reinvest with ads 5) Outbound strategy 6) Identifying the RIGHT market 7) Everlasting ads If you're ready to step up, scale your detailing business to book 10 - 50 correction and coating clients consistently every month all year round (and get away from everyday general, interior grimey soccer mum SUVs) - schedule your free strategy session here: Click here to schedule your 45-min strategy session now Talk soon, Yikhai Wong I get this a question a lot...
"What's that ONE thing that made your business successful?" That's a freaking tough question to answer I always stumble to answer that question, man Like there are WAY too many words trying to come out of my mouth in one second There are a lot of factors to it From principles to discipline to strategies down to the click-by-click tactics But one thing I know for sure that attributes the MOST... That is the people you interact with on a daily basis See, when I first heard this saying: "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with" I thought that very cliché and it didn't make a whole bunch of sense And one day i realised.. You won't actually believe in something until people around you have believed it, or you've actually seen it in person Let's say.. (incoming super exaggerated example lol) Some random people in your neighbourhood told you they've seen a flying purple lion around You'll think they are crazy THEN, your friends starts telling you the same thing You think your friends have gone mental, but now you're slightly convinced it's actually true When you get home, your family in your house starts telling you the same thing NOW, you start fully believe this thing is real But you haven't even seen the goddamn flying purple lion dude! And you already have FULL belief that it exists See how powerful this is? What does flying purple lion have to do with detailing and business? Well, everything.. If you surround yourself with everyday people with mediocre (broke) mindset Not only you will stay mediocre... They will tell you $15k/month a one-man-band detail business is impossible And most likely you won't succeed Then, you will also compare yourself with everyday mediocre people to see HOW you're doing compared to them Which is a dead catastrophic if you're running a business If you compare yourself with averages, you will be average If you surround yourself with normal, you WILL be normal But if you surround yourself with millionaires, well chances are extremely high you will become a millionaire sooner or later Hence why I'm very aware of who I surround myself with To me, average or normal is NOT good enough That's why I compare myself and part of my circle of five people is 6-7-8-figure income producers And you should do it too The biggest factor that is helped me to succeed is: Environment, beliefs and clarity Back then, I was part of a detail group.. I saw a lot of people was booking $1000, $1,200, $3,000, even the highest was $20,000 ticket I could not believe it.. My jaws dropped (In before "who tf charges $20k for a detail job" - that detail job was a full resto/customise + PPF + coating, and yes you can charge $20k if you have your value and market aligned) My standard, belief and clarity raised overnight I was charging $250 for a "full detail" on freaking grimey interiors with dried up coffee If it wasn't for that group, i probably would've still be under the sun vacuuming pet hair and scrubbing interiors I want to create the SAME dynamic for detailers too, even stronger for those who signed up to work with me Hence why few months ago created a facebook group for detailers who wants to grow and set a new standard for themselves It's called "+/$100K Detailing 2.0™" It's free, but not everyone will be accepted as I uphold high standards for this group Join +/$100K Detailing 2.0 Facebook Group

All he got is his detailer bros across the states giving him compliments and thumbs up Now he’s high on dopamine thinking he’s running a successful detailing business When in reality he’s only booking 2 coating jobs per month at best with Susan inquiring how much to clean the interior of her minivan that has just been perfectly decorated by her 3 kids with dried up coffee and fries Now, Arthur is a little different Arthur also has been running his detailing business for a few years But he knows how to work smarter, not harder Arthur understands that the lifeblood of his business is his customers, and not his social media followers He also understands the difference between a general detail *cough* wash job and a correction and coating job that is pretty much night and day So he decided to laser focus on the specialist services He has done his research, he knows WHO are his ideal customers Down to the language they use and watches they wear.. And most importantly, where they hang out He dedicates couple hours every single morning to generate interest from his ideal customers and set appointments up for them to bring their cars in for a estimate By noon, not only he has already finished washing and decon on a car he’s doing He already has 3 cars coming in for an estimate FROM the efforts he put into his business daily, every morning setting appointments up with his IDEAL customers He took his time doing the appointments, made a great connection with them even though he have to pause what he’s doing.. As he KNOWS the value of sales By the end of the day he has already booked 2 more cars in for a correction and coating for the week.. On top of 4 cars he’s already currently doing By the end of the day, he hasn’t even checked his social media.. Nor did he post any stories.. nor did he make any videos.. nor did he participate in conversations with other detailers Most importantly, he doesn’t whine on groups/forums about "omg how do i manage doing the work and talking to customers" At the end of the month, he already has done 23 correction coatings, 4 brand new coatings, 3 pre-sales, 2 PPF that brought his revenue to $42,000 that month Yet he barely posted any content on social media And Jimmy is still replying to his detailing bros about what pad he used on the full detail he did Months later.. Arthur hired a new staff, upgraded his shop to handle the workflow, new equipment, added a renovated waiting room to better serve customers as he understands the importance of customer experience and his services What about Jimmy? He got started showing off his snowfoaming skills on tiktok and asking the same question on forums about their opinion on graphene coatings I’ve seen many detailers come and go, live and die.. Well known detailers and not-so well known detailers I see detailers all the time obsessing facebook likes, engagements, insta followers, snapchat, tiktok blah blah.. When does it end? Which in reality, it BARELY convert into sales I used to be like Jimmy.. (Detailing 1.0) I have 2.9k likes on my detailing business page and 5.9k likes on my Yikhai Wong fan page Got me nowhere but broke Do those likes convert into sales? I’d be lying if i said no.. lol It does, but only a VERY small portion (like 0.1%) with little to zero predictability and consistency When I became like Arthur (Detailing 2.0) everything shifted 2016-17 from $4,300/month to $14,500/month 2018-20 from $14,500/month to $14,500/WEEK What's next? I started helping detailers to become like Arthur Time to level up detailers who wants to win And.. I did not expect what happened? Meshac just booked a holiday trip to Florida for a $5,600 boat client + another 1 boat + 3 cars: Zac just booked his highest ticket of $3,400 and booked out until 3rd Week of August: Mike just booked a lamborghini for $1,800: What changed in them?
They did not do what Jimmy is doing blasting on every social media platform. They became like Arthur If this rings your ears and you're interested in becoming like Arthur, schedule a free 45-min strategy session with me Applications is now open to work with me to help you transform your business..
