How do you compete with the guy charges way less than you? 

The answer is you don't 

Be in a market of your own 

You see, if you look at the average detailers from a bird's eye view - all their business kinda looks the same 

Their logo looks kinda looks the same, their business cards, their messaging, website etc is always the same message 

It doesn't help especially when there's random fly-by-night jim james john detailing popping up everyday 

Your potential clients don't know the difference

That's where your Point Of Differentiation and Unique Selling Proposition comes in

We're moving in this new era where people have TONS of options, especially with the help of the internet

Just being a detailer it's not enough and it's way too generic

You need a unique twist in your detailing business. 

Niching down and to be more specific on who you want to be serving 

The top 1% of detailers, their business model is different, their branding is different, their pricing is different their message is different, their service is different 

They don't just copy blindly and do what most detailers do

Ask yourself: 
What makes you different from the other detailers? 

If you can't answer this question, you're in for a wild ride lol. Time to start thinking

It could be a certain exclusive coating installer, could be specializing in a specific type of vehicles, could be specializing in 4x4, could be specializing in JDM vehicles, could be specializing in Aviation, could be specializing in British cars 

It's infinite 

If you target everyone you get no one

If you niche down and target a specific segment of the market, your message gets 10x stronger, you're now a specialist in a market of your own and moreover, you get to enjoy what you're working on and not some random jobs everyday
