Work Smarter, Not Harder

I grew up having that mindset that if you want to achieve any types of success, you need to grind and work your ass off

Especially growing up in an asian family, it's normal to study 15 hours a day to get like 2 degrees, 1 masters and wasting my entire early 20s in university/college to end up struggling to find a $40k/year dead-end job. Fuck that

When I made some money flipping guitars, phones, and dj equipment when i was like 14 - 16 years old, deep down I knew being an entrepreneur was the path for me

(I've never completed my N-levels, a high school dropout and I'm proud)

For a long time I didn't know about the working smarter part and I'll just smash out any jobs come my way

If you want to make BIG money in the detailing market, you need to work smarter

Would you rather

A) Book 30 clients every month for a $300 full detail

OR

B) Book 15 clients per month at $1,000+ and work MUCH lesser with happier clients who respect and LOVE your work

I learned that higher-end clients have MUCH cleaner cars (as they take good care of it), and they are willing to pay a LOT more, even cars that are brand new

Soccer mum's SUV or daily joe's corolla is a nightmare and their car is usually neglected with spilled coffee and dried up candies

When I learned that, I immediately made the switch and transitioned into the high-end market

To put it in perspective, your normal detailer joe charges $250-$300 for an in and out full detail on a normal car and it takes them about 4-5 hours

VS

One of my best client's maintenance wash every month or 2 on a Bentley Continental Flying Spur and a Porsche 911 GTS at $250 each and it takes us less than 2 hours for each car, $500 in total and they are usually not that dirty or grimey

And less than a day for ceramic coating on brand new cars and it starts at $1,000

And by the way, Mercedes-Benz charges 2-3x more than what I charge for paint protection and dealership protection (dont get me started lol) it's seriously subpar compared to ceramic coatings

One of my clients was ranting on the phone about getting quoted $3,200 from mercedes for his brand new GLC - $1,500 for an aftermarket coating delivering next level results really is a no brainer

Looking to transform your detailing business to the next level with consistent high-paying clients?

I have a program called Uplevel Detailing and it does exactly that. I help detailing business to consistently book high-paying paint correction, ceramic coating, and PPF clients and play at the 6-7 figure calibre working less

Just a warning though, this program is not for everyone. Time is limited and I'm only looking to work with serious players who are looking to grow and transform their detailing gig. If that's you, let's talk

I'm currently offering a free 45-minute strategy session where we'll dive deep down where you are right now and where you want to grow this business to, and we'll map out how we can bridge that gap. If you're a good fit for the program, we'll then consider letting you come onboard where we work together in 6 weeks to grow your business to the next level
